THE CUBE

The Cube is known as Birmingham’s premier destination based within the heart of the city. It is home to several luxurious restaurants and bars, a boutique hotel, and a gym and spa. The Cube is also home to premium apartments and supreme office spaces.
It also includes the UK’s largest automated car park. The Cube is an iconic landmark and is walking distance from The Mailbox, New Street Station, Brindley Place, Grand Central and The Bullring.
What Was The Client Looking For:
The Cube needed a security provider that truly understood the complexity of The Cube’s
Nature and the vast uses it has. The Cube wanted an IP CCTV solution so that the system could be accessed both in the control room and remotely, as well the need for it being a hybrid platform capable of recording the existing analogue cameras.
The Cube currently had LCD monitors positioned in their control room which needed to be re-positioned due to the ergonomics for the monitoring team. The Cube’s management team also wanted to create a monitor wall within the control room facility.
How Did Watch Systems Ltd Help:
Watch Systems Ltd undertook a full security site survey and identified a number of key improvements. We compiled a full report together and went ahead with the installation of the upgrade of CCTV recording platform, migrating The Cube to a full HD VMS scheme. We installed several additional LCD monitors at the correct positioning allowing them to view real-time footage from any connected pc, providing situational awareness of the entire site.
We also provided a planned maintenance and reactive package from our 24 hour help desk here in Edgbaston, ensuring The Cube gets the latest technological diagnostic and support from our own local service team.
