Watch Systems assisted The Edgbaston Neighbourhood West Midlands Police!

Watch Systems Limited had the absolute pleasure in assisting the Edgbaston Neighbourhood West Midlands Policing team installing two active speeds signs within the Calthorpe Estate, on St James Road between George Road and Frederick Road and Harborne Road adjacent to Greenfield Crescent. These signs were granted by The Active Citizen Fund, ensuring that they make a positive difference to the Edgbaston community.

The lower speed measures are designed to improve road safety and make the streets more attractive to both pedestrians and cyclists, ease congestion and reduce pollution.

According to research half of people hit by a car at 30mph will die, compared to just 10 per cent at the lower speed.

We are proud to be part of this exciting safety scheme that has been introduced across the Calthorpe Estate.
